Hey all,

this is just a site about my favorite subject... entertainment!!!

It basically says things about my favorite shows, musicals, actors, actresses, singers, and music styles... it is pretty much self explanitory... have fun looking around.

You'll also get a little bit of information about me, and what i would like to be... i will tell you what my life is like, and that might help you to know why i have picked these favorites as my favorites...

I am 18, and am very close to my parents... My fathers parents were americans... Grandma Carpenter (i'll rever to her as g'ma) and grandpa carpener (We'll call him G'pa)...

G'ma was first married to Captain Wayne Williams (who unfortunately was the captain flying the plane that carol lombard died in when it crashed)... anyway... G'ma was working for Phillippine Airlines....

At a seprate time, G'pa was being sent to the Phillippines to introduce The Colgate Palmolive company to the phillippinos.

G'pa did not have a good flight, and when he went in to complain about the airline, he ended up complaining to his future wife!!!

On march 10, 1948 my father was born.... they moved around alot...

he was, of course, born in the phillippines, but also lived in cuba, france and canada, and the united states....

When fidel castro took over cuba, he was required to leave with grandma and grandpa and they could only take 2 bags a peice.....

They left their house, left many pictures, wedding pictures, baby pictures, left grandma's wedding dress, left my dad's favorite toys, their beautiful furniture... just posetions they had acquired over the years....

But they went on to live a happy life, and were very close..... now that my grandparents are dead... my dad has very few realitives left.....

one of his few realitives is Garn Stephens who was in the original broadway cast of Grease....

anyway....

That is my fathers side of the family

My Mothers side is a little bit more extended....

Mother was born in a town called morehead city, in north carolina....her sister, my aunt... was 11 years old when my mom was born.... however she is very close, and is a wonderful, kind person, who i love very much....

My mom's extended family included a cousin that married 7 times and died at the age of 40, a cousin that married, divorced, and then married her ex father in law.... and of course, dear aunt thelma, who thought that her nose fell off.

I guess mama's family is just a typical southern family....

but they are loving and close..... Grandpa garner owned the garner gulf station, and his brother co owned the Sanitary Restraut..... a very famous restraunt on the waterfront in north carolina....

My parents met in winston salem north carolina, and they were both working for RJ Renolds Tobacco....

Here is the intresting proposal story....

my dad was away on business when they wer courting....

He sent a postcard to my mother, asking her to marry him...

when he got back to the airport, he called her to let her know he had landed and was comming home.... "did you get the postcard" he asked

"No, i didn't get any postcard, that i am aware of" she said

....

Then, on the way home, he drove by the bill board that had been blank for months now....

now it read

"JC, Yes! BG"

.....

She had had that painted on the bill board when she got the postcard....

They married and then i came along

.....

They have raised me to be compassionate, understanding, and loving.... they have brought me up and shaped me.... they have introduced me to theater and musicals since i could remember.....

I saw my first musical at the age of 4....

we enjoy good family movies, and fun books.....

we share our loves, and hopes, and dreams, and are very open

I love my parents more than anything, and i would like the whole earth to know that they are the ones who raised me and brought me up to be the person i am today.
